One Life

Back in March I decided to take a 12 month break from Social Media. And as the dust settled in my head, I began to think and see clearly.

I'd had this cloudy vision for the label, for a long time...and I'd been trying my hardest to get it across on my socials...Ugh, it wasn't working. So I stepped into the silence to gain some clarity.

In April, while on family holiday, I bought a denim vest at an Op Shop. I actually bought ALOT...and I had NO IDEA what I was planning...

Just somewhere in my head there was a plan. May 22nd, I woke up at 4am after dreaming most of the night about that freakin vest.

My head was instantly flooded with ideas...like I mean FLOODED, they were just pouring out...words, images, ideas.

I jumped out of bed, grabbed a new design book and I began to draw and write furiously...and honestly...I haven't stopped since. It's been phenomenal.

Hand picked, seen for it's potential, studied, known/understood, and then refined to become SO MUCH MORE than it could ever have become had it stayed in that shop with all it's mass produced brothers and sisters... Discarded was the best thing that ever happened to it. So if you ever feel forgotten, discarded, unwanted...let my designs remind you of the TRUTH that you are actually seen, chosen, sought after. And OH, the treasure you can become in the hands of the grand designer.
